You can reach us by calling the office at 613-722-7771 during office hours (please see the contact form for current office hours). The office administrator will be able to provide you with an application form.
Follow the instructions on the form for how to submit your application.
The Office Manager completes confidential background checks on credit, landlord and other references.
Once these checks have been completed, you’ll be invited to an interview with the Membership Selection Committee, who makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors about your application.
When the Board of Directors makes a decision about your application, you’ll be informed about the results. If your application is approved by the Board but there’s no unit immediately available, you’ll be offered a place on our waiting list. When a unit becomes available, the Office Administrator contacts the next applicant on the waiting list. If that applicant refuses the offer of a unit, we’ll contact the next applicant, and so on, until we find someone ready to move in. You can refuse three times before your name is removed from the waiting list. If you still want to be on the waiting list, you’d have to re-apply.
We remember with gratitude that we live, play and work on lands that are, by law, unsurrendered and unceded territories of the Algonquin people. May we live with respect on this land, and in peace and friendship with its people.
